There was no denying that his visits to Spain increased in frequency in recent years. Su-jin enjoyed the wolf's company and the sort of bond they forged over the last ninety years or so. In spite of everything, Su-jin was a social creature. He enjoyed being around others, whether it was the crush of bodies on a dancefloor or quiet company by a roaring fire. Human or otherwise, Su-jin didn't discriminate in his acquaintances -- well, he did try to avoid the hunters. It was easier to be with other supernatural creatures so he wouldn't eventually have to explain why he hasn't aged a day in thirty years. But humans were so vibrant, too.
Meeting Silvio was a happy accident. It was the first time in his long life that he'd ever gotten close to a wolf. They typically had a pack for socializing and such. But Silvio was alone. That was what initially prompted Su-jin to insist on visiting. First, it was once or twice a year for a handful of days. But as the years went on, he began coming to Spain more often for longer stretches of time -- but no longer than two weeks. He wouldn't risk being hungry on a plane full of people.
This time, he'd been there a handful of days, enjoying his friend's hospitality. The days had been only the tiniest bit strained for Su-jin though. Over their long friendship, he realized his feelings had grown into something more. Oh, yes, he talked about it Tiras, of course. He would never take another lover without knowing Tiras was alright with it! Finally, he knew he had to broach the issue.
Su-jin sat curled up on the couch by the fire, a blanket thrown haphazardly across his legs. The only thing that could make the image more cozy was if he had a hot drink clutched in his hands. He could eat and drink, but he got no nourishment from him so, usually, he didn't bother.
"Silvio," he finally said in his usual soft tone. "How would you feel if I wanted more from our relationship?"
What had started as a passing friendship had really grown over the years. Now Silvio could always count that Su-jin would be there right after the full moon and he'd be there until he got better. That was already so much for the wolf but what had really meant the world to him was that Su-jin started to do things like go with him into the city or describe things to him.
Never had he treated him like he was handicapped. He'd just learned to know him and the company was something he really started to look forward to, even going out to the couch to wait for Su-jin when he knew he was coming.
Su-jin had been there several days now and they were enjoying the warm of the fire in his cabin. A blanket thrown over Su-jin's legs and Silvio on the floor leaning against those covered legs. Though it looked like he was staring into the fire, they both knew he couldn't see anything. It was just nice to feel the heat on his face with someone who mattered to him.
He hadn't felt this way in a long time. The last time he'd come close that loved one had died in his arms. It had been the very last sight his eyes had ever beheld. But he knew that Su-jin was taken so he never said anything.
That question though...
Tilting his head, he frowned in confusion as he turned to face his friend. "...more?"
Su-jin always trusted that Silvio was a capable person. Pragmatic as it was, he knew Silvio wouldn't have survived otherwise. It would've been an insult to treat him differently because he couldn't see. Silvio was capable, but also clever. He needed help, he'd ask. Su-jin understood that.
His visits weren't to help Silvio through the moon, but to be there for him after. To make him meals when he was exhausted. To get the fire started on cold nights. To mend socks and seams as needed. To run errands and shop for him. To take care of those little things Silvio could do (or have done) on his own so he had fewer worries and could focus on recovering. He understood from experience what a difference having someone to manage those tasks could make.
"Mm," he hummed in affirmation. A subtle shyness crept into his voice, but there was no doubt in his tone as he continued. "I've come to realize that my feelings for you have grown romantic. I've discussed the matter with Tiras and he's amenable to me being with you, if that's something that would cause you any doubts."
It was something that would have caused him doubts. Had caused him doubts. The fact was written all over his face as his lips parted to say it before Su-jin added that. Tiras was fine with it? He knew Tiras in passing but their worlds were so different that they were content not being closer and just being close to Su-jin.
They'd share this man. This sweet and caring man. Turning more, he rested his arms on the other's legs as he lifted his head toward him. No, he couldn't see him. But he knew where his face was and he wanted to let all of his expressions be seen.
"Are you sure? You'd have to split your time between us. More than you do already. And I don't live in the same country. I don't want to inconvenience you like that, Su-jin. You're already so good to me and I treasure that..."
He felt like a coward pointing any of this out. Scared that this was real and it would perish in his hands again. That was so stupid but... It was real to him, those feelings.
Su-jin shifted where he sat so he could lean forward, closer. A hand reached out and he pressed his palm to Silvio's warmed cheek. Ah, this sweet wolf. Of course he had his concerns and doubts, who wouldn't with the things he's been through?
"Nothing changes if you don't want it to," he assured. Maybe, if Silvio agreed to take this step with him, maybe later they could discuss possibly moving closer. That was premature at this point, but yes, Su-jin had already thought about it. There were plenty of options that could suit Silvio in the United States, if he was willing. But it all hinged on whether or not he wanted Su-jin as a romantic partner or not.
Those eyes closed as the memory came back and he moved to stretch his upper body on that warm lap. For a moment he was very quiet and still. He knew he was so much younger than Su-jin but that had never bothered him. But it did always remind him that his pains were so much fresher because of it.
"I never told you this but I was going to mate with one of my packmates. I was seriously in love. The day I was going to say something the hunters came and the last thing I ever saw in this world was that bloody body of the person I loved in my arms," Silvio confessed quietly.
"I want to be with you so bad it hurts. But I'm fucking scared of you being the next one dying in my arms. I fell for you a couple years ago, I know it. I just couldn't bring myself to say anything because of Tiras and because I'm terrified, Su-jin. I'm scared that now I've said it I'll lose you too. It's stupid but..."
Su-jin welcomed Silvio closer, smoothing a hand over his hair and across his shoulders. He could feel his blood moving in his veins, feel his lungs inflate with air, and his heart beating -- the way it quickened when he remembered the things of which he spoke. He tried his best to soothe with those touches, gently rubbing Silvio's back.
"It's a reasonable fear, given what you've already lived through." His voice was gentle, filled with sympathy. Oh, sure, he'd lost people who were dear to him, too, but never anyone he'd been in love with. Never a partner. He could only imagine how such a thing shattered poor Silvio's heart. And even through all of that, he's kind. He didn't grow angry or bitter.
"I can't promise that nothing will ever happen. I won't even try to craft such a lie. It's an insult to you and your feelings." He understood that, comparatively, Silvio was young. His wounds were still very fresh. Su-jin wouldn't insult him by trying to brush his fears aside. "What I can promise is it cherish every moment we have together. And I can promise to walk with you while your heart heals."
This asshole saying the right things. All the right things. Of course Silvio wasn't actually mad about it. If anything he felt relief from it and he wrapped his arms around Su-jin's hips as he took time to breathe in his scent. There was always that scent of blood and bodies that lingered on him due to his nature but he could smell the city under that. The soaps that he loved and even the trees clinging to his skin now.
That promise was everything to Silvio. It acknowledged his pain but offered him the chance to not just have to carry it alone. Someone would love him and carry it with him if he wanted to. He just had to reach out to accept it.
"...I want to be with you. I don't want to think about it. I want you to be my mate because I love you," he murmured quietly.
Those words pulled a quiet gasp from Su-jin. It was one thing for Silvio to say he'd fallen for him, but hearing 'I love you' was something special. It made his heart stutter before it seemed to swell with overflowing warmth. Oh, he hasn't doubted for centuries that Tiras loved him, and he loved him just as fiercely in turn, but it wasn't something they spoke of.
Silvio isn't Tiras. Comparing their relationships was like apples and oranges.
It's just that Su-jin wasn't mentally prepared for such an earnest confession. It left him breathless and flustered in the best of ways! After a moment of stammering, he finally laughed at himself, then cleared his throat. He exhaled a long breath and realized he couldn't stop smiling.
He heard the joy and flustered reaction long before Su-jin could get the words out. It brought a smile to his lips and soon he was lifting his head to face him. Sure he couldn't see that smile on the man's face but he could hear it. He could hear it so clearly.
Letting out a soft laugh, he climbed higher so he could hover in front of Su-jin. This was his mate now. This man that he loved. Silvio couldn't stop smiling and he decided he didn't want to say more.
Instead, he just leaned in and did something he'd wanted to do for two years now. He kissed him.
Happiness suited Silvio. It brought a new life to his already handsome face. Su-jin's hands lifted to cup that beloved face and he was on the verge of saying something when Silvio leaned in and words failed him. Dark lashes dipped as Silvio moved closer and Su-jin was sure the wolf could hear his heart beat faster. Breath caught in his chest and he, too, leaned in to meet his mate part way.
When their lips met it was like a bold of lightning struck. Su-jin felt electricity in the air and it made his skin dimple. He absolutely melted against Silvio and parted his lips in a silent invitation to explore. God, could he stop with just a kiss?
Something snapped at the meeting of their lips. Suddenly it wasn't enough and as he kissed him deeper to explore he brought a leg up onto the couch to rest there. Both hands were now cupping Su-jin's face as he grew more passionate in his interest, shuddering a little at how good the feeling was.
It was when his lungs screamed for air that he pulled back, panting hard. The scent and the sounds coming from Su-jin told him that he felt the same as him and his hands moved down to grab his shirt so he could start pulling it up. They both were too dressed and he wanted to feel more of his new mate's skin, get his scent all over himself.
Yes, yes, undressing was good! Su-jin breathed out heavily. By now, he knew the scent of desire very, very well and it filled his senses. It made him feel dizzy and hot and... honestly, he suddenly understood why Tiras spent so much time naked or close to it! Tugging at his own garments, Su-jin made quick work of the buttons on his shirt and hastily pushed at the blanket so he could get to the fastens of his pants.
"Bed?"
Or right there on the couch. He didn't rightly care, but Silvio might have a preference.
Yanking off his own shirt, he grinned as he pulled Su-jin off the couch by his hand. Then he was hauling him toward the bedroom and loving how small his place was at the moment. Because it meant they got to the bed in no time, Silvio sitting on the mattress to pull the other close to him.
Running his hands over him, he found the hem of those pants to start pulling them down as he leaned forward to nuzzle and press kisses all over Su-jin's chest and stomach.
It's not like Su-jin hasn't seen Silvio without a shirt before. However, it's never been in this context. With his hand in the wolf's and them scurrying across the cabin to his bed. Once Silvio settles on the bed, Su-jin moves to stand between his legs, arms draped lazily across his wolf's shoulders.
A long, long time ago, he used to fantasize about men like Silvio. Tall and muscular, strong and handsome. That was long before he ever actually went to bed with another man. And now he had just what he'd dreamed of! Su-jin breathed out a sigh as those warm kisses dotted his skin. And he shivered just a little as he felt his pants lowered. Unsurprisingly, Silvio will find him already starting to get hard.
His arms lift from the wolf's shoulders, hands dragging across his skin to slide his fingers through Silvio's hair. They're both warm from the fire, but Su-jin's sure his arousal was making his blood burn hotter, too. They'll be very warm soon enough.
"I want you on top of me," he sighed out. Oh, yes, this one with his height and weight... Yes, Su-jin very much wanted to feel that above him, pressing him into the mattress with all the strength Silvio could muster.
Pressing more kisses to his skin, he smiled a bit. He wanted to be under him, huh? Silvio had never had a chance to explore his preferences really. Sure he'd messed around a bit but that hadn't been anything like this. Having a partner where they'd find out what they both wanted. What they both liked the most.
"Alright."
Suddenly he wrapped his arms around him to swing his weight around in order to flip Su-jin onto the bed in order to climb on top of him with a grin. "Like this?"
Well, they would have plenty of chances to explore together. Su-jin was sure of that. Other than Tiras, he could count on one hand the number of people he's slept with. Of them? None were what he would call partnerships. Experiments, perhaps, was more accurate. Even that was long ago, before he understood his heart better and gave it to a certain incubus.
And now this wolf. It only took a hundred years for him to figure that out. That's progress!
Su-jin squawked inelegantly as he found himself laid out flat on Silvio's bed. His hands flew to the wolf to find purchase at his shoulders before he fell into a fit of laughter. He leaned his head up to brush his lips against Silvio's then stared up at him through half-lidded eyes with an inviting smile.
"Just like this," he purred.
Su-jin let his hands wonder, stroking down Silvio's strong arms, along his toned sides. He could even feel strength as his palms moved across the wolf's back, tugging him down closer so they could fool around together a little more. He wasn't in a hurry, per se, he wanted to be able to explore his new partner. But on the other hand, this really was a fantasy coming true!
The thing he'd loved the most about developing his other senses was that he could hear when Su-jin smiled. Not just the sound of his heart or the rush of blood through him. No, he could hear the smile and knew what that sound meant. It was a rush for Silvio as he smiled back down at him and kissed him back as he helped the other out of his pants to toss them to the side. His own followed after that.
And then he was pressing himself close to him. Soft kisses fell to Su-jin's face as he pushed his fingers through his hair, letting the heat of their bodies soak into each other.
"You're really gorgeous, you know," he murmured against his lips. Sure he'd never seen the guy in his entire life but that didn't change what he knew as a fact based on being around him and touch him and just existing with him.
Somehow, he didn't doubt Silvio's sincerity. Even if the other has never seen him with his eyes. There were other kinds of beauty that didn't require someone to have functioning vision to notice. Even still, Su-jin felt his cheeks grow warmer hearing such words from someone he cared for so deeply.
Su-jin dragged his hands over Silvio's back, moving them so he could cup the wolf's face. "You're not so bad yourself," he teased. Silvio was gorgeous, like a model! Honestly, he could probably be one even without his sight. That's could be a conversation for later.
For now, Su-jin sighed beneath Silvio, savoring the press of the wolf's skin against his and the weight of his body above. He kicked his legs until the pants were gone and he was left completely bare beneath the wolf.
Deciding to explore, Silvio let himself start pressing kisses along that strong jaw and long neck. Then his hands led him to where to explore next, his lips following his fingers as he breathed in that scent with every pass. There was so much power in this body, so very much like his own.
It was amazing. Stunning.
Dipping his tongue into that navel he found, the wolf smiled up at him. "I've been wanting to do this for a year now..."
In love for two years, dreaming of fucking him for one. And wow it was great for that dream to come true.
Su-jin let out a soft, breathless moan as Sivio's lips moved across his skin. Those dark eyes fell closed and he tilted his head back to offer more of his throat to the wolf. Yes, he knew it meant more than just that. Su-jin's a predator, too, after all. He sighed and arched up against those hot lips, hands scrambling to keep some contact, any contact with the one who was about to become his lover in every sense of the word.
"You should have said so sooner," Su-jin teased, lifting his head up to flash a grin at Silvio. "I used to fantasize about men like you long before I found the life I have now."
Oh, oh no! Su-jin's face went hot and he lifted his hands to cover it. One would think after all these years he wouldn't get so shy about dirty talk... and yet. How best to explain that Silvio had a body type that turned Su-jin on long before he'd ever even been to bed with someone? All those long days of watching the laborers in the fields, half-clothed and shimmering with sweat under the sun.
"There's nothing complex," he stammered. "I used to watch the men work, in fields and home, in the cities in Europe. They were so muscular and strong, like the great sculptures in the museums!" There's definitely a wistful sigh in his voice as he describes them. Though he loves Tiras body and soul, there was always still this gnawing desire of old to be had by someone bigger and stronger than himself.
"I used to concoct these daydreams where one of these men would take an interest in me and spirit me away to some private place to do much like what you're doing now before fucking me absolutely senseless."
Oh this was actually really cute. Silvio rested himself on Su-jin to grin at him while he listened. Was he actually covering his face? That was so good. Laughing softly, he gave his stomach a little nibble before wiggling so that he could get himself between those legs.
Nuzzling his cock with his cheek, he grinned wider at him. "Do much like what I'm doing now. So were they doing something else before fucking you senseless? Maybe...getting a taste of you? I know I'm interested in that."
And he was very much going to but now he wanted to hear Su-jin admit to it.
"Bully," Su-jin muttered under his breath. But he liked this teasing. He finally uncovered his face and reached down to thread his fingers through Silvio's hair, but he kept his eyes closed a moment more. A deep inhale so he could catch the scent of Silvio all over this bedding. Knowing that scent would soon be all over him sent a shiver of anticipation through Su-jin.
