After several centuries, it's nice to hear now and then. Such words are never exchanged between him and Tiras. They don't need words. Su-jin doesn't need them from Silvio, either. But he likes them, soaks them up like a sponge.

"I love you very much, Silvio," he answers with an audible smile. There's such fondness in his tone, it's unmistakable. He sounds like some young lover who's just been able to actually his feelings. Is that too far from the truth? Though they've known each other nearly a century, this aspect of their relationship is very new.

He breathes out a soft sigh and returns to trailing his fingers over Silvio's skin. Mostly, they follow lines of muscle and the natural curves of bone. There's a silent marvelling in the gesture, a deep appreciation for the creature Silvio is and the big heart he has.

"I would not have imagined this when we first met. Though I did think you very handsome from the start."

Silvio shivered a little from the touch, his skin still sensitive while it was healing from the silver burns. They weren't as bad as they used to be but that didn't mean he could heal quickly. He'd still need at least a day to get rid of these. But, he didn't mind that because the sensitivity just made him even more aware of who was touching him. Admiring him.

He smiled at his mate. Sure he couldn't see him but he knew where that handsome face was. And no, it didn't matter that he'd never seen it. He knew it was handsome from all the times he'd run his fingers over the features.

"I still remember how surprised I was when you came back."

"I could hardly leave you alone in that condition." His voice is warm and nostalgic. He's not the sort who believes in fate or anything like that, but the longer he spent with Silvio, the more he felt it was right for them to have met that day. A thousand different decisions that led to a chance meeting that brought them here, into each other's arms and hearts. Any slight deviation could've changed the course of their lives.

Yet here they are.

"I must work harder to surprise you again."

He gave a soft laugh. Leave it to Su-jin to want to do something sweet like working harder to surprise him again. But it was one of the things that he loved about him. The fact that he wanted to put effort into something like that. Into him. Silvio smiled a little more.

"It must be a challenge with how good my nose and ears are to pull off surprises with me."

A dramatic little pout bowed his lips (Tiras would be proud!).

"It is!" He insisted with a playful note in his whining. "It's quite a challenge!"

He could hear the change in his face to know he was pouting and he could even hear it a little in his voice. It made him laugh, loving how cute that made Su-jin sound in the process.

"I love that you try though. It means a lot to me that you care that much."

He heaved an overdramatic sigh to go along with the pout and shifted to rest his chin on one of Silvio's shoulders.

"I suppose I can continue on without surprising you ever again. It'll be hard, but I'll manage despite the emptiness."

[typhlotic]

"Here. Let me give you a tip to you get more successes in the future," he offered with a soft laugh.

"Be spontaneous. Plan less. If you do it that way then you'll probably find I get surprised more often."

Su-jin squinted, bowing his lips slightly. "Spontaneous isn't really me."

[typhlotic]

"I know." And he really burst out laughing this time. But he found one of Su-jin's hands to bring it to his lips to kiss it.

"It does work though. Otherwise it's too easy for me to sniff things out."

[lamia]

He huffed quietly, pouting openly again as he leaned his chin heavily on Silvio's shoulder. If there's one thing Su-jin's never been, it's spontaneous. Or maybe he was once when he could still be a regular human, but those days are long gone -- if they ever existed at all. Immediately he started thinking about what he could do that would be spontaneous... and realized planning defeated the purpose.

"Challenge accepted," he muttered.

Silvio burst out laughing all over again. Much as his body ached, this was priceless. He was loving every damn second of it. Grinning ear to ear, he shifted so that way he could press a kiss to the side of Su-jin's head.

"You're adorable when you're sulking."

[lamia]

How could he keep being pouty with Silvio's laughter filling the air? So warm and genuine. He fought the smile for a fraction of a second before nuzzling against his companion. Su-jin's arms tightened around Silvio's waist subtly before he pressed a warm kiss on the shoulder he'd been leaning on.

"Try not to hurt yourself," he teased gently.

"I'll be fine. I'm just sore. The worst part is my eyes and that'll settle when the full moon is gone. Until then I have you to help me." Gently, he rubbed at the arms around him to reassure him that he was okay. It'd take a little bit before the silver injuries were fully healed but it truly wasn't as bad as it had been.

"Anything you need," he said, as if Silvio needs any reminder. "Except spontaneity."

[typhlotic]

"I'm going to make so much love to you as soon as I have the strength for it. And that doesn't count how I might mate you tonight when I'm a wolf again." Twisting a little, he pressed a kiss to his cheek. "You're all I need. I promise."

[lamia]

Su-jin breathed out a soft laugh. He hugged Silvio a little tighter against him and laid a kiss against his shoulder.

"I'll hold you to that," he teased. But truly, he didn't want Silvio to push himself for his sake. He also enjoyed just spending time with Silvio so if they just ended up sleeping curled up around each other, that was enough. Oh, the sex with him was great, no questions, but it's not specifically needed every time they visit.

"You're worrying. I can hear it." He grinned at him and then laughed a little. "But I'll let you. I know you're happier if you have the chance to fuss over me than if I just insist I'll be fine."

"You are my mate. I'm allowed to worry about you." Not that he didn't worry before they decided to become lovers. Now, he's just more adamant about it. Why should he mask those feelings from someone he loves? Someone who isn't outwardly disgusted by them.

"I trust that you won't overexert yourself." It's almost a question. But a playful one. No one knows Silvio's limits during the full moon and shortly thereafter than Silvio. Su-jin trusts that he'll listen to his own body and rest as needed, even if they do manage to squeeze in some vigorous activity.

"You are allowed. And it means a lot to me that you do."

Silvio shifted to give him a little nuzzle. "Will you help me to stand up? I'd like to move around some to stretch my muscles out since we have daylight now."

And he could do this on his own but having the help from someone he loved? That was so much better.

"Of course."

Su-jin pries himself away from his lover. A sad task, but one he's happy to do if it helps achieve something Silvio wants to do. He can't imagine it's easy for his wolf to be idle for days at a time.

Climbing to his feet, he reaches out to take Silvio's hands to help pull his wolf to his feet. And if he needs more help than that, he'll get it. Su-jin's strong enough to heft him out of the bath entirely if needed. Once Silvio's on his feet, Su-jin slips an arm around his waist to support him as they step out onto the floor.

"Have you enough strength to walk outside?" After they've dressed, of course.

Groaning as he got to his feet, he stretched a little but made sure to lean against Su-jin. While he could support himself, he knew it was better to accept the help. For his own needs and also because it would make his mate happy. At the question, he nodded and smiled at him.

"Bet you're going to make us get dressed first though, aren't you."

One of these days he'd get Su-jin to run around in the forest naked with him but he highly doubted it was today.

Perhaps someday. But Silvio's right in surmising today is not that day. "I'm going to get dressed," he corrects gently. If Silvio doesn't want to, Su-jin won't press him to do so. Silvio's far more accustomed to wandering naked through nature than Su-jin is, that's just a fact. He would rather focus on helping his mate as needed than keeping himself from getting torn up by the forest.

Su-jin reaches for a towel, patting Silvio dry before tending to himself. Though he brought clean clothes, the ones he wore prior to their bath are right there. So he simply decides to use those again. He dresses quickly so he can take Silvio's arm and lead them out of the bathroom. It's not a heavy touch, just enough to be there if Silvio falters.

Silvio turned his head to him and lifted a brow. "Only you? Well thanks. I appreciate it. The fresh air will feel amazing on my skin."

Taking things slow, he made his way outside when Su-jin was ready. Closing his eyes, he drew in a deep breath and then sighed happily. The air of the forest was wonderful and clean. So perfect after a night in the basement. A smile came to his lips as he continued to walk, enjoying the feel of the forest under his feet the longer they walked.

"It's so beautiful here. Thank you for bringing me to this place to be closer to you."

How Silvio can navigate the forest floor without shoes will forever be a mystery to Su-jin. He's probably had quite some time to adjust to that. Rather than ask about it, he simply walks beside his mate, keeping a supportive hand at his elbow.

"I have long wanted to bring you here, but I had no inducement to lure you here until our relationship changed." He peers over at Silvio, watching his expression come more alive in the open air. There's a sort of relief there that's plain to see. "And I'm so happy you're here. Knowing we can visit at any time is such a joy to me. And I hope it is for you, too."
