❝ Masquerade ❞

{ seething shadows breathing lies }
Traditional thing that Iseul is, he made a point of sending out invitations to every monster and supernatural being with whom he's acquainted the day after telling Damian of his masked ball. Each is written in a large, looping hand and reads:
- My Dear Friend,
You are cordially invited to a most exclusive masquerade ball to be held at my estate on the next new moon. The attire is formal with a theme of silver and gold. My doors will open promptly at 8:00pm. Dinner will be served with music, dance, and festivities to follow.
I do so look forward to your attendance.
Kindest Regards,
Your Host
Guests will find the house dark and sprawling, positively goth in decor and style. For those who know or know of Iseul, this won't be a surprise. There's a running joke in the community that the Fae is truly meant to be a vampire... more so than his long-standing vampire rival. Those in attendance will be shown to the parlor, the pocket doors thrown wide to the adjoining suite to make it something of a small ballroom. Musicians sit off to the corner playing with few breaks throughout the night.
The dining room boasts a long table with a veritable banquet. Though, one must be careful about eating Faerie food. Never fear, dear guests, for none of this food was prepared or even harvested by Fae hands. Outside, the grounds are covered with sprawling flower gardens, topiaries, and even a small maze of hedges. Lanterns light the paths since there's no moon for light. Both in and out, the house has many dark nooks and crannies and unoccupied to rooms to disappear into. All guests are welcome to stay if, for any reason, they are unable to leave at first light.

He doesn't even try to hide the childlike excitement. It's like a sports fan randomly running into their idol on the street, it caught him so off-guard.
"You're actually real!"
no subject
"I am the last I checked, yes." Why that should matter was beyond him though. It wasn't like he cared who thought he was real and who didn't.
no subject
"I'm DangerNoodle93." That's his handle on the blog. And he is a prolific commenter there.
no subject
"Oh! It's so nice to meet you. I never imagined you'd be here at a fae party of all places."
no subject
Oh, shit! He's staring, isn't he?
Snake rubs a hand against the back of his neck and laughs. It's a nervous little sound accompanied by a smile. "Yeah, it's just dumb luck, actually. I think the invitation was for whoever lived there before me." But since it wasn't addressed to anyone specific, the fae had no excuse to turn him away.
"This sorta thing happens a lot."

Reaching out, he took his hand so he could pull him away to some chairs for them to sit down. It was so exciting for him to interact with someone from something he had a passion for. One of his favorite hobbies that Su-jin always helped him with. Smiling brightly, he sat down and swept his robe out so it would sit properly.
"What is your real name? I like your username but let me know you."
no subject
"Oh, it's Daniel. But everyone calls me Snake. Hence the username."
no subject
But no. He'd never do that. Mainly because he utterly adored how this was his second biggest fan in the world. Never would he keep him from continuing to comment and enjoy the content of his cryptid site.
Lowering his hands into his lap, he tilted his head. "I'm impressed you recognized me so fast. You truly are a fan."
no subject
"I've been following your blog for a long time." It probably predates Snake. Back from the good old days of Web 1.0. His smile's bright, but only a little awkward (after all, this guy is like his hero after all!). "It's what inspired me to start my own."
no subject
Oh wait. Su-jin had his phone. Well he'd just look it up later then and follow it!
Instead he poured all his attention back into Snake, leaning forward with a smile to show his interest.

"Uh, it's called Move Over Mothman. I write about," he gestures to the party going on and all the very non-human creatures around them, "just this sorta thing. I kinda... Well, I just stumble into situations like this where I'm usually one of few, if not the only regular human. I write about the real paranormal creatures. But carefully. The last thing I want is to put any of you in danger by giving too many specifics."
no subject
He wiggled in his seat and smiled wider. "You don't have to worry about me, sweet one. I'm very delicate in appearance but it takes so much more to bring me to danger."
Honestly? Tiras was the danger in actuality.
no subject
"What are you, exactly?"
no subject
Reaching out, he touched Snake's cheek again. He was quite pleased with this human. A fan before he even got drawn in by his natural abilities. That made him quite special. It was like he'd suddenly found himself a pet and he was so delighted by that fact, smiling sweetly at him as his fingers trailed along his skin. To anyone else it would look predatory. Perhaps in a way it was. Tiras laying claim to a pet that he wanted to keep safe so Snake could keep admiring him properly.
"Some believe my kind to be demons. Others think we're spirits. I'm not sure which I am but I can say that I do feed on the sexual energy of others."
no subject
He'd rather understand them as people.
"I didn't think spirits were corporeal. You feel very corporeal to me."
no subject
He hummed then smiled and shifted a little closer to him. Honestly he was practically on his lap at this point but oh well. Tiras hardly cared about that. He was having a great time here.
"You've fallen under my spell. It's something I do unconsciously most of the time. I'd apologize but, well, I'm really not that sorry since I quite like you," he admitted with a little giggle and a tilt of his head.

And right now, someone he’s been following online for the better part of his life is practically in his lap, staring at him like he could eat Snake up, and professing to like him. W O W. And the way he tilts his head like… Snake can’t resist closing the distance to brush his lips against those oh-so-inviting lips.
no subject
He hadn't planned to taste his new pet tonight but he certainly wasn't complaining. He was so sweet on his tongue. Like a delicate little dessert...

When Tiras shifted into his lap, Snakes hands moved immediately to rest on those slim hips, urging the incubus closer. He wore so little, Snake could feel his body heat so easily and it seemed to just melt into him, burning through him. When did it get so warm in here?
He sat up straighter, only so he could be closer to Tiras. To make that kiss deeper so he could sweep his tongue into the wet heat of his mouth and map out the terrain. Oh, yes, there’s definitely lust boiling just under skin, sitting heavy in his mouth and his eyes. But underlying all of that, everything conjured up by Tiras’ natural abilities, is a genuine admiration.

"Take me to another room and I'll let you have me. I want to taste you, Snake. You're mine now..."
no subject
“You’ll have to move first…”
no subject
He smiled at him and then kissed his nose sweetly and playfully. Trailing his fingers through his hair, he shifted closer to him rather than get up. All to encourage Snake to do as he'd encouraged of him.
"Go on. Take me to another room."

And ruin so no one would ever be able to compare to the sex Snake had had with him.
As soon as they were close to the bed, he kissed him again, moaning against his lips as he let the robe he was wearing fall away to the floor. He wouldn't need it right now. There was something far more interesting about to happen here.
no subject
Closing the distance between them, Snake began to crawl into the bed, urging Tiras back as he did. He dips his head for another slow, lingering kiss. The hunger’s heavy on his tongue as it swept into that inviting wet heat. He groaned into Tiras’ mouth, pulling away when he needed air. He dove back in immediately, trailing molten hot kisses over the line of Tiras’ jaw and the side of his throat.

presuming they don't use Tiras' name on the conspiracy blog...
I'd say that's a fair assumption
