❝ Masquerade ❞

{ seething shadows breathing lies }
Traditional thing that Iseul is, he made a point of sending out invitations to every monster and supernatural being with whom he's acquainted the day after telling Damian of his masked ball. Each is written in a large, looping hand and reads:
- My Dear Friend,
You are cordially invited to a most exclusive masquerade ball to be held at my estate on the next new moon. The attire is formal with a theme of silver and gold. My doors will open promptly at 8:00pm. Dinner will be served with music, dance, and festivities to follow.
I do so look forward to your attendance.
Kindest Regards,
Your Host
Guests will find the house dark and sprawling, positively goth in decor and style. For those who know or know of Iseul, this won't be a surprise. There's a running joke in the community that the Fae is truly meant to be a vampire... more so than his long-standing vampire rival. Those in attendance will be shown to the parlor, the pocket doors thrown wide to the adjoining suite to make it something of a small ballroom. Musicians sit off to the corner playing with few breaks throughout the night.
The dining room boasts a long table with a veritable banquet. Though, one must be careful about eating Faerie food. Never fear, dear guests, for none of this food was prepared or even harvested by Fae hands. Outside, the grounds are covered with sprawling flower gardens, topiaries, and even a small maze of hedges. Lanterns light the paths since there's no moon for light. Both in and out, the house has many dark nooks and crannies and unoccupied to rooms to disappear into. All guests are welcome to stay if, for any reason, they are unable to leave at first light.

He sleeps for about an hour, a deep and dreamless sleep. But a restful one. When he woke, he was surprised to find Tiras exactly where Snake left him. And he himself hadn’t budged an inch.
Blinking the sleep from his eyes, an apologetic look painted over his features. He shifted his weight to roll off Tiras to release him to the rest of his night. There must be others here Tiras knew and wanted to socialize with. Being Snake’s personal body pillow probably wasn’t part of his plan for the night
“Sorry,” he uttered, sitting up and scanning the room for his clothes. “That doesn’t normally happen”

When he felt him stir, he shifted to gaze at him then gasped softly when he felt him pull out of him. Rolling over on his side, he watched him curiously before smiling.
"You've never slept with an incubus though, have you."
Of course he hadn't. So of course he couldn't be prepared for how it would be to be fed on by one. "I could have left at any time. I didn't wish to."

Snake actually felt a little weak and swayed slightly when he rose to his feet. But there was a party going on and mingling still to be done. But he didn’t really mind if he spent more time with Tiras. It had something to do with his natural charm and something to do with Snake’s near life-long curiosity about him. Maybe it was more of a fixation. He followed the blog about Tiras religiously, always eager for some new scrap of news about him.
And now he’s here, in a room with him. Getting dressed after the best sex of his life. Of course he’s a little awed. And more than a little dazed.
“Oh. Well, um, thank you? For staying, I mean.”

Rolling onto his stomach now, he brought his feet up to kick them lazily. He should get dressed too but he was having quite a nice time watching Snake while enjoying his cum in his ass. He'd have to find a way to learn where his home was so he could surprise Snake by showing up there. Maybe he could ask Su-jin. He was so good at that sort of thing.
"Why are you thanking me for staying? You're mine."
Simple as that.
presuming they don't use Tiras' name on the conspiracy blog...
His fingers paused in their task, and he blinked over at Tiras. “Yours?” Does that mean he’ll see Tiras again? Does that mean Tiras wants to see him again? A mere human? And why is that thought making his pulse race anew?
“Then… will you tell me your name?”
(And yes, Su-jin will do a deep dive into Snake’s life the instant Tiras asked him to. Or even mentioned the guy.)
I'd say that's a fair assumption
Tiras smiled at him sweetly but didn't bother to elaborate on what he meant by Snake being his for right now. There was no need to do so. It wasn't important. Well not to him. All that mattered to him was that people knew who Snake belonged to. As long as they understood that? Everything would be fine for them.
"My name is Tiras. I named myself after someone from the Bible." Because he was amused by the idea of doing that.

Normally, he’d just say thanks and peace out at this point. But he found himself lingering, wanting to bask in Tiras’ presence longer. What is Tiras’ spell or the fact that he’s someone Snake’s interested in outside of all that? Some combination of both?
Well, it’s not like Snake had anyone to go back to at this party.

"What is it?" he decided to ask, curious rather than annoyed by the way Snake looked at him now that they'd finished.

“Oh,” he rubbed the back of his neck and glanced between Tiras and the door. “Sorry. I’m still having a hard time wrapping my brain around you being real.”
no subject
"I'm very real, Snake. And I'm sure we'll meet again very soon."
le fin~?
“I hope we do.”
