(( The next day, Will's waiting outside the main shelter door promptly at 11. Even though it's not very far into fall, Will looks like he's ready for winter in a heavy sweater (with sunflowers on it), a hoodie over that, and a warm scarf wrapped around his neck. It's easy to peg him as the type who gets cold very easily. When he sees Jason approaching, he pushes off from the wall and moves to greet him with a wave and a smile. ))
Wanna go in and meet the animals?

[ Jason is kinda nervous, but he wouldn't ever show it. he's there with confidence on his face as he approaches, giving Will a wave. all he can think about though, is how damn cute Will is. ]
(( Despite the playful grin, Will arches a brow. ))
You sure? They're all very cute. You could be in real danger of ending up with four of them, just like me. Oh! That reminds me, next time we hang out, I'll have to introduce to the babies. Three dogs and a cat who adopted us all.
(( Heading toward the door, he pulls it open for Jason to go on through. Inside is full of the sounds of dogs barking and a few meows, too. Typical shelter sounds. ))
My babies are named after literary figures. We have Keats, Shelly, and Poe. And then the cat is named George. I say he's after Lord Byron, but that was really an afterthought. He just seemed like a George to me.
(( He takes Jason back to the kennels where there are a variety of different dogs: big and small, old and young, all in want of a loving home and a loving person to be friends with. Some ran right up to the edge of their kennels to greet them, others were sleeping, some just sat and wagged their tails. On the other side of the building were the cats, who were much more aloof (as cats are). ))
Um, no monkeys. Mostly like lizards, snakes, domesticated foxes. We helped rehome some sugar gliders once since I've been here. I would like to be able to hold a monkey though. That would be so cool!
