I didn't mean to be unclear. there was a time, a very long time ago, when all my lovers lived together. mostly it's easier just to share custody since most people already have a home they're comfortable in. I think it seems a little culty to have a commune full of people you're involved with these days.
no, there's not a lot. there's some overlap with the people both Riley and I are seeing, but other than like once or twice a year when we have big 'family' dinners, there's not a lot of contact.
no, no, no, it's not like that. the best way to characterize it is a bunch of couples that have a little overlap? like, there are people who are involved with me and also with Riley. but not everyone is.
(( The next day, Will's waiting outside the main shelter door promptly at 11. Even though it's not very far into fall, Will looks like he's ready for winter in a heavy sweater (with sunflowers on it), a hoodie over that, and a warm scarf wrapped around his neck. It's easy to peg him as the type who gets cold very easily. When he sees Jason approaching, he pushes off from the wall and moves to greet him with a wave and a smile. ))
Wanna go in and meet the animals?

[ Jason is kinda nervous, but he wouldn't ever show it. he's there with confidence on his face as he approaches, giving Will a wave. all he can think about though, is how damn cute Will is. ]
