Nodding, he waited until he felt those powerful hands on him before trying again. It was easier with help but even then he was still left panting as he leaned back against the headboard. Pushing a hand through his hair, he turned his head toward Su-jin. "Thanks."

"Of course," he answered. "I'm here to look after you, so don't hesitate if you need something."

"Not used to being able to do that anymore." He gave a little bit of a pained laugh. "Can I get something for the pain?"

"Same as last time or do you need more?" He remembers the dose Silvio took before. But with the effects of the moon and his transformation in play, Su-jin wonders if he might not need more.

"More. Please." His entire body hurt so badly that he was sure that he might need the whole bottle this time. It would be enough to easily kill a human ten times over but werewolves could handle it easily. In fact they needed that much for their more extreme pains.

"Thanks."

"I'll be back," he assures. He figures Silvio keeps a supply of medicine, but Su-jin brought more with his supplies, just in case. So he fetches the bottle from his things and returns almost as silently as he'd left. However supernaturally light his footfalls, Su-jin knows a wolf would hear them. And Silvio in his own territory, in such a state, was probably hypervigilant without it being purposeful. He stopped off to get a glass of water for Silvio, as well.

Returning to sit at the edge of the bed, he presses the bottle into the wolf's hand. "I brought something to drink, too. Is there anything else? Are you hungry?"

He heard Su-jin leave and he heard him come back. As he got closer, he held out his hand to accept the bottle, nodding his thanks before opening it up and downing the entire thing in one go. It was bitter as hell and he coughed after he finished, grateful for the water after.

Once Su-jin handed him that next, he took slow sips to clear the taste from his mouth. "Something to eat sounds amazing."

He understood that Silvio's metabolism worked differently than a regular human's -- that much was evidenced by how much of the medicine he needed for any relief at all. But he worried what effect so much of it would have on the poor wolf's stomach.

"Is noodle soup okay?" It was light enough that he could keep it down in spite of pain and whatever effects the drugs might have. But the noodles would be filling enough to help keep his stomach from getting upset. A stew would be better, but that would take much longer.

"Could you make sure there's some meat in there too? If you don't mind?" His body was craving it right now. Something gentler was definitely helping his recovery but he figured a little meat wouldn't hurt. If he was craving it then he probably needed it at this point.

"It doesn't have to be much. I'm just hungry for it."

"That's not a problem," he assured. A little shredded chicken couldn't hurt too much, right? And the protein would aid Silvio in getting his strength back. He brought groceries with him, including some things for a soup... about the only thing he really knew how to cook after all these years.

"Will be alright alone for a while?" If not, he could always call after Su-jin if he needed or wanted something.

"Yeah. I've been alone before. I can handle it."

He smiled at him then let himself lean back. It was nice having the company but he could handle a few minutes on his own. "Usually I'd be struggling to get out into the woods to hope something will practically dive into my mouth. This is nice."

"Alright." He laid a gentle hand on Silvio's shoulder, squeezing very softly before getting up to take his leave to the kitchen. He wouldn't be terribly long, but he still added, "Call if you need me," before padding out of the room as quietly as he could manage.

If there's something other than food that Silvio needed, it was rest. Su-jin was hardly going to rob him of that by being needlessly noisy. So, even with some distance between them, Su-jin was careful and quiet. If Silvio happened to nod off before he came back with the soup, that would be fine. Su-jin will give him a light nudge to wake him for his meal.

He nodded that he would then closed his eyes to let himself relax. It was honestly nice hearing Su-jin move throughout the house, to follow his steps and find out what he was doing. Silvio liked it a lot. Loved it even. He smiled as he waited, not drifting off for right now but just enjoying the feeling of someone else being there for a bit.

A good soup takes time, but no one ever accused Su-jin of being a good cook. Especially when he himself hasn't had to eat food or feed someone for centuries. When he's done, it will be hot and safely edible, but that's about it. When Su-jin returns with the bowl, be sits down on the side of the bed, holding it out to his friend.

"There's chicken in it." Though, Silvio could probably smell that.

"I can smell it. Thanks."

Sure it wasn't gourmet but it didn't have to be. Silvio didn't live that kind of life anyway. Edible was all he really needed and he was happy to enjoy the benefits of the soup restoring him as he took little bites of it. The chicken especially made him groan with appreciation, his body craving it the most.

"It's good."

"I shredded it so it will be easier on your stomach." It was fine but plentiful. Since Silvio wanted meat, Su-jin was keen to provide it.

"I'm glad it's edible. I don't cook often. Neither my partner nor I require that sort of sustenance."

"Tell me more about you and your partner. If you don't mind, of course."

He tilted his head to listen while he ate, genuinely curious about is new friend. So far he liked him a great deal so he was interested to learn more about him.

Where to begin? And how much to reveal without encroaching Tiras' privacy? Su-jin taps a finger to his lips in momentary thought.

"The Council paired us up several centuries ago. It took almost a hundred years to even begin to understand him as a person. He's saved my life at least twice, that I know of. I wouldn't put it past him to have done it more than that and not tell me." Su-jin looked down, and though Silvio wouldn't see it, he would certainly hear the depth of emotion in the vampire's voice when he continued.

"I am a creature that can only survive by devouring the flesh and viscera of others. Animals will suffice, but humans or other monsters are more nourishing. I'm sure you can smell that on me. What you smell is Tiras. He is able to survive and regenerate from my feedings."

"Sounds like he really cares about you if he not only lets you feed on him but he takes care of you."

Because from the sounds of it he could have just let Su-jin feed with nothing more to it. The fact that he gave him so much more than that said a lot to him. But he was honestly glad that his new friend had someone like that.

"I did smell it. Including the fact that you had a regular meal that was the same person. It's how I knew you weren't human like me."

Blood and flesh probably isn't the only thing Silvio can smell on him. Tiras is an incubus, after all.

Su-jin lowers his eyes, a small, fond smile on his lips. "When we were paired, I thought it would be nothing more than two monsters locked in a cycle of feeding. I needed him to survive, but there was nothing he needed from me. Or so I thought."

That made him smile a little. He couldn't see the smile but he could hear it. Just as much as the fondness in Su-jin's voice. It said so much about how he felt about this partner and Silvio loved hearing it.

"Just listening to you it sounds like you to need each other equally."

"Mm, we do." Perhaps not from the start, but very soon after.

"It works out well. He likes being looked after and, as you can see, I enjoy looking after others." Sorry Silvio, you might be stuck with him now.

Silvio gave a long and thoughtful hum. "Well, I haven't really seen anything. But I am tempted to believe you."

Then he burst into his laughter at his own joke until he was wincing from the pain it caused. But honestly it had been totally worth it. Because he'd thought his joke was hilarious, thank you.

Su-jin blinks at first before he realizes what he'd said. Then he, too, joins in the laughing. Until Silvio winces and the vampire's eyes go wider.

"Don't hurt yourself," he teased, still feeling mirthful.

"I'm alright, I'm alright. Everything just hurts right now."

But he was grinning still, not at all bothered by the fact that he'd made it worse laughing. Why would he? He was having an amazing time here. He smiled wider at him then relaxed again. "You have a great laugh."
