In Simon's mind, there was nothing to forgive. Nothing Silvio did was out of malice. It wasn't as if people simply divulged everything about themselves at first meeting. Simon certainly has his troubles -- which Silvio helped him through, was still helping him through.

"It's a lot to take in," he murmured. "But thank you for telling me. For trusting me. If I can do anything to help..." When he's scared and alone, Simon meant.

Simon was accepting him. All of him. It was so much and he found himself almost breathless for how in awe he was. It made him want to... But no, he shouldn't. They were taking things at Simon's pace and rushing into any sort of affection could ruin that.

So he decided to just...say what was on his mind instead rather than simply doing it. Just to help test the waters. "...you're making me want to kiss you so badly right now."

Oh! Simon's cheek grew warm and it was his turn to drop his eyes. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't attracted to Silvio. Not only because he's handsome but because he's understanding and kind. He's never questioned Simon's boundaries, never pushed at them. He's always been respectful of Simon's needs.

Swallowing hard, he lifted his eyes once more. Oh, but Silvio really was so handsome... "You can..."

His eyes widened when he heard those two words. Not only because it was permission but because he could hear that this was something Simon actually wanted. He wanted to be kissed by him. Not some guilty escape or an attempt to runaway. This sounded very much like he definitely wanted him.

Lifting a hand, he gently cupped Simon's cheek then leaned forward to press his lips to his friend's. It was soft and only lingered a moment but it was enough to make his heart rush in his chest. Pulling back a little, he smiled softly and brushed his cheek with his thumb.

"I'll admit I've wanted to do this for awhile now."

Oh, yes, indeed, he wanted Silvio to kiss him. Maybe even had wanted that for a little while, now. But things were going at a nice, leisurely pace, one that allowed Simon to deal with any lingering anxieties or doubts. Yes, they still popped up, but they were so much easier to lay to rest now. If he couldn't do it himself, he knew he could always talk things through with Silvio.

But right now? He didn't have a single doubt.

Butterflies beat their wings in his stomach and he breathed out a soft sigh when their lips met. Soft, brief, nothing to cause any alarm. Ah, but it was also wonderful. Simon canted his head into Silvio's touch and smiled before slowly opening his eyes once more.

"Thank you for being patient with me."

"You're worth waiting for."

Silvio rested their foreheads together and closed his eyes. Yes, that had been well worth waiting for. Knowing that he got to have this moment with him meant everything to the wolf. He felt so happy in that moment and he couldn't stop smiling.

"You don't have to answer now if you don't want to. You can think on it but would you consider..." Oh what was the human phrasing again? Right, right. "...dating me?"

Ah, this turned out to be a lot nicer than Simon planned. He was elated that Silvio trusted him enough to open up about what he is. It was still hard for him to fathom, but it wasn't beyond belief. After all, he did believe in God and that was pretty supernatural. What mattered was that Silvio wanted to share something that was a part of him with Simon, not that he was something other than human. What mattered was that Simon accepted that part of Silvio, too.

Simon's heart stuttered at his next words. It was already beating faster from their first kiss and now this? Simon shook his head, forehead still against Silvio's. "I don't need to think on it." Lifting a hand, he pressed his palm to Silvio's cheek and smiled. "I would be so happy to date you."

He didn't need to think on it? Silvio leaned into that touch to his face and ended up grinning so brightly when he heard the next words. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. They were together now. A couple. And he felt so honored that Simon trusted him enough to want to be with him like this. Especially when he struggled with this side of himself for obvious reasons.

Kissing him again, he let the kiss linger on a bit before pulling back. He still couldn't stop smiling as his fingers traced those handsome, handsome features. "You've made me so happy. I didn't want to push you before you were ready but the fact that you are with me... I've never been this happy. Not since my pack leader agreed to let me become a wolf."

It's been some time now since Simon admitted to himself that he liked Silvio in a way that wasn't strictly platonic. But what's made it easier for him to accept has been Silvio's patience and caring. Everything Silvio's done for him, helping him out of a dark place, accepting the reasons for his many hang-ups and helping him work through them (still helping him work through them), all of that was more than enough for Simon to see Silvio cared for him in return.

He hummed softly into that lingering kiss, slipping his fingers back to thread through Silvio's hair. When he opened his eyes again, they were half-lidded but so full of bliss. His cheeks actually ached a little from how wide his smile was. Simon's hand slid down to rest at the back of Silvio's neck and he sighed happily.

"Do you want to tell me about that? I'd love to hear it."

Silvio melted from the hand in his hair, moving to his neck. It felt amazing to be touched like that again. Sighing softly, he opened his eyes and smiled at him. It didn't matter that he couldn't see it, he knew that smile was there and it looked so good there.

"About my pack? There's a lot to tell. I lived with them for around a hundred years. What would you like to know?"

He gave him another kiss. "They would have loved you."

"Hmm," Simon hummed in thought. Where to even being since he just learned werewolves were real?

"What comes to mind first when you think about them? You can tell me anything, everything. Maybe not all in one sitting," he added with a laugh. "I'd like to know about the ones who were so important to you, Silvio."
