Ah, Matthias loves being the center of someone's attention. He's a lot like a spoiled house cat in that he wants attention, but only on his terms. And since Jan's willing to indulge him, he's equally willing to take full advantage of it. Matthias takes a long draft from the bottle -- indirect kiss much? -- before handing it back. Please don't mind him swiping his tongue deliberately across his lips.

Taking the proffered hand in his, Matthias smiles oh-so-invitingly. "Matt."

Oh, don't worry, Jan doesn't mind at all. In fact, his pupils might dilate just a little bit as he watches the action. His lips twitch upward and he gives his--Matt's--hand a nice shake. And if his fingers linger a little overly long, if they caress against Matt's wrist before he drops his hand back down to his side, well...

He can't be blamed, can he?

Jan takes the bottle back and takes another sip before holding the bottle by the neck, dangling it loosely. If he drops it now he doesn't particularly care, he's found his entertainment for the night. Maybe he'll just pass it off to someone stumbling by.

"Any fun plans tonight, Matt?"

Oh, Matthias loves a flirt! And a good-looking one, no less! It's so fun seeing the same tactics he usually employs at work. He's seldom the one on this side of the wooing and it's making him positively giddy!

Don't mind him answering with a blatant once-over and a smile that promises all manner of wickedness. His head tips slightly to the side, a brow raised. "I certainly hope so."

Yep, okay, Jan's done out here for the night. He glances around briefly and turns for just a moment to shove the bottle at the first person walking by. They take it, confused, and whatever they do with it after that is no longer any of Jan's concern. His focus returns entirely to Matt and he steps a little further into his space with a grin. "I have, in fact, been praised in the past for my ability to have a fun night."

Jan reaches out and slides an arm through Matt's to settle himself in against his side, making himself perfectly comfortable as he leans into him. "My hotel's a few blocks that way, unless you know somewhere closer."

"Good reviews are great, but I think I still need to try you out for myself. You know, just to be sure." There's a lighthearted teasing note in his voice and no small amount of interest in those dark eyes.

As Jan tucks in beside him, Matthias drops an arm around his shoulders, grin spreading into something positively wolfish. He can't say he knows someplace closer, but he does have a faster way to get somewhere private.

"I do know a place... But you'll have to close your eyes."

"Ooo, an adventure."

People have reprimanded Jan plenty of times in the past for having approximately zero self-preservation skills, that he's far too trusting of people when he's after something from them, and sure, maybe they're right. But Jan is also of the firm belief that you only live once and if being murdered in a back alley by a hot guy is how he goes out, then that's how he goes out.

Looking at Matt here, he's pretty sure there are worse ways to go.

His eyes close even as he tilts his chin to show it. "Promise you're not a serial killer?"

Canting his head to drink in all that foolish trust, Matthias reaches up to brush his fingers along the sharp line of Jan's jaw.

"I'm not a promising sort of guy," he purrs. But before anything else can be said or done, the ground seems to drop out from beneath them. A whoosh of warm air rushes by and the ground snaps back into place beneath their feet. It's not the same pavement they stood on before. No, this is more like...

Well, if Jan opens his eyes, he'll find himself in a a trendy, spacious loft apartment. It's nondescript in its lack of personal touches, but it suits Matthias just fine. And it has a fully stocked bar that's not going to cost an arm and a leg.

"Ta da~"

Janus knows unnatural movement when he feels it, not that he doesn't think a normal person wouldn't have been able to figure out that getting from point A to point B in about 3 seconds isn't natural, but it sends a thrill down his spine all the same. He clings to Matt tighter and lets out a squeaky, delighted laugh as everything moves around them so very fast. When his feet land on solid ground again and Matt gives him that cheeky little ta da Janus finally opens his eyes to look around him.

It's a really nice place. He especially loves the skylights giving a beautiful view of the sky and stars outside, but there are more pressing matters at hand. Janus tips his chin up and grins at Matt, poking him in the center of his chest. "Show off. You could have just mentioned the part where you're not human, you know."

Well, okay, maybe he couldn't have, Janus isn't exactly up-to-date on Earth's view of things that Aren't Human, but. Well. Matt clearly has no qualms about showing it off so maybe they've progressed?

Matthias laughed then shook his head. "In the immortal words of high school English teachers everywhere: show, don't tell." Not that he's ever heard those words in their natural habitat. He's far too old to deal with irksome teenagers just for the high school experience.

And, well, the truth is he doesn't usually admit to being something other than human to humans (be they from Earth or elsewhere). Those little tricks are for his fellow supernatural creatures. But Janus seems like a pretty laid-back guy so... And if they never see each other after tonight, where's the harm?

"Teleporting beats the hell out of every other mode of transportation out there," he added with a grin. "No traffic, no customs, no crying babies on airplanes."

"That's kinda hot, not gonna lie." Jan takes one more vague look around the area before he turns and puts himself right up in Matt's space again, his arms lifting to drape them around the other man's (not a man?) shoulders. He smiles up at Matt even as he starts to absently twirl a little bit of the hair at the nape of his neck around his fingers.

"Don't spoil it for me, I'll try to figure out what you are by the end of the night. But if there are any other special tricks you have that might be fun, feel free to use them. I'm not exactly from around here, either. I've seen some things."

Matthias isn't unhappy with Jan's reaction. He's quite pleased, actually, evidenced by the way he sidles right up when Jan gets in his space again. Settling his hands on Jan's hips, he presses close enough that there's little else between them but their clothes. Or rather, his clothes since Jan's wearing so little.

"It's cute you think there's going to be time to consider any of that." Well, if Jan figures it out or not, it's really not of concern to Matthias. What should it bother him if people know what he is? As long as they're not going to be some long-term threat, he really doesn't care that much.

Matthias's smile is so suggestive as he leans in to nudge his nose against Jan's. "If I manage to keep it a secret, what do I win?"
