"Maybe we could narrow it down to three or four..." Hahahaha them? Eliminate sweets? It's not likely! He looks at the apple Riley's holding and hums thoughtfully. "Well, this has the M&M crumbles on it, so we can probably skip those. We don't want it to be too similar, right?"

The pets see that container, too, and their little tails start wagging happily. Except George. He's an indifferent as always. At best, he'll sniff one of the apple pieces and turn his nose up. At worst he'll like one, then turn his nose up. He only eats that fancy homemade stuff mom and dad make for him.

"No, not similar." Dropping the money in, he took the apples to put into his bag. It would be too hard to hold the apple they were eating and also open the container to feed the children. Nope, they could sit down somewhere after this and they could all eat snacks.

"That looks like peanut butter candy. I bet that'll be delicious because apples, chocolate, and peanut butter are always amazing!"

Those dark eyes popped wide. "How did I miss that the first time?!" Probably because he was so excited to make one that he only took a cursory look at all the different options. "Do you want any nuts on it, too?"

"This one has nuts so we can skip those." Well barely any nuts since it was mostly candy but it totally counted! Riley hummed happily as he looked at the pieces of candy then pointed to what looked like ground up toffee.

"Maybe a little of that? We'll get it kind of crunchy then."

Will rolled the apple through the peanut butter candy and then again through the ground toffee. Holding it up for Riley's inspection, he grinned proudly at his work. "How's that?"

Riley gasped as he looked at the amazing work. It was stunning. A beautiful apple covered in gooey goodness. "It's beautiful! Let's try it! You first. Tell me how it is."

He leaned forward so he could see his reaction better since he was on his back.

Well! Will's not about to argue over sweet treats! He turned the apple this way and that, for his own benefit as well as Riley's. Then he found the perfect spot with both peanut butter candy and toffee before taking a bite. The moan of delight may sound exaggerated to anyone else, but it's pretty normal between these two with their love of sweets. His eyes fluttered closed and he breathes out a sigh, tipping his head back.

After a moment to recover, he brightened and held the apple up for Riley. "Do you want a bite or do you want to get down first?"
