If Felix were asked to pick a favorite season, he wouldn't be able to. There's so much to love about all of them. In fall, he loves the leaves and the way the air gets cooler (prompting his fur to get a little thicker and his little cat body to grow fatter!); the warm scents of cinnamon and pumpkin spice and of fires burning in fireplaces. And the leaves! Felix loves the leaves! They colors, they way they drift so gently to the ground, the piles of them that are so very comfortable to nap in when there's no tree stump or sunny patch of soft grass to be found.
Oh, but a sun puddle shining on a pile of leaves? That's heavenly!
So please be careful before you jump in that oh-so-tempting pile of leaves. You may find a little cat sleeping there.
