“Reality shows, huh? But you’ve never watched a cooking competition? They can be pretty cutthroat. Wanna watch one, see if you like it? I have a few of my favorites on the DVR.” And, in case Tiras wasn’t following him to the couch, Snake looked back and jerked his head toward where they were sitting before.
Realizing he had to take up his own food, he blinked then grabbed it before coming over to the couch. "Alright. I'll watch. I won't know anything about the food they're making though..."
Sorry Tiras. Snake doesn’t know he’s supposed to play manservant… yet. Even if he did know, he probably wouldn’t. It’s not his style.
“It’s okay. I can stop it when you have questions. And if you decide it’s not your thing, we can find something else to watch. Sound good?”
Snake set his food down beside him and poked at the remote to pull up and episode of Top Chef. And if Tiras seemed even remotely interested in that, he could move on to Cutthroat Kitchen. He did say he liked drama.
Settling down on Snake's other side, he curled against him and watched as the episode started. Of course he had to ask questions about the food. Why did they have to do certain things. What did that taste like. Why were people so shocked by cooking methods. But he otherwise was quiet as he watched, even eating his own food and drinking the beer.
It was like watching TV with Su-jin. Only different. He liked it a lot. Though, he did have another question...
Once the episode began, Snake reclined a bit on the couch. He put his plate in his lap and casually slung an arm around Tiras’ slim shoulders. It seemed okay to be familiar like this since they already screwed. Tiras didn’t seem to mind and Snake, who was hardly any sort of romantic, enjoyed the way his idol snuggled up to him.
Snake didn’t mind frequent pauses to answer questions. He thought shows were more enjoyable when you understood them, so helping Tiras understand would increase his enjoyment, right? Snake hoped so.
“To a lot of us, yeah. It’s a pretty big chunk of change. Not enough for like a house or anything. But a lot of these contestants want to jumpstart their careers or start businesses or expand pre-existing ones. So that kinda money is helpful for ventures like that. It’s one less loan you have to take out.”
Then he blinked, turning his head to peer over at him. “Are you rich?” Probably, if he’s anywhere near as old as his website suggests.
That much money could jumpstart a business? Here he was having Su-jin dump millions of dollars into the artist compound he wanted to do. Literally millions. All so that the artists would want for nothing ever. He blinked a little then realized that Snake had asked him about his wealth.
"Hm? Oh yes. Do you need money? I can give you money."
Actually forget that. He was just going to give him money later. And make sure that he bought this apartment so that Snake would never have to pay rent again.
Let’s be real. Millions wasn’t a lot of money to Tiras and Su-jin. While things like Tiras’ art compound came about somewhat spur of the moment, they were rarely frivolous with such sums. They lived very well, but it wasn’t like they were paying a million dollars for a personal trip to the moon and back.
Snake blinked several times. “Oh, no. I don’t need money.” Snake wasn’t rich in the way Tiras was, but he had some family money he came into when his favorite auntie passed. Apparently, he was her favorite, too. Plus, he worked so he had an income to supplement that savings. And then there was the passive income from his blog. Unless a bunch of disasters happened all at once, he was pretty set financially.
“Thanks, though. It’s sweet of you to offer.”
There was more he wanted to say, something else clearly on his mind that he hesitated to voice… but only for a moment. Pausing in lifting a forkful of noodles to his lips, Snake gave Tiras an earnest look. “Do you wanna sleep with me again?” Because Snake would like that. A lot. Maybe after their food settled.
Well he'd make sure to spoil him anyway. Get him so he wouldn't have to pay for anything with this apartment ever again. That would be a good start. Tiras was already looking around to see if he'd want to buy better quality things of anything else when...
He blinked as he looked over at Snake again. Then his lips broke into a smile. For a moment the mask fell away and he looked like an eager young man in his early twenties excited to get to sleep with his boyfriend. In a way, he really was. It was how Snake made him feel.
"Yes! Finish eating so you'll have the energy for it!"
He wouldn’t say no to a top-of-the-line computer or three. Just sayin’.
If only Snake realized what a rare and special reaction that was. Someday he’ll know that, but for now? This was just his incubus friend (they’re friends, right?) doing what incubi do. Not like he would complain. He’s never been very interested in dating to the point that he considered someone a committed partner. He’s had some friends with benefits and more than a handful of flings, but never anything serious. So, Snake doesn’t expect that from Tiras.
Little does he know…
He laughed and patted Tiras’ shoulder with the arm draped around him. “You gotta let it settle. Throwing up isn’t sexy… to me, personally.”
That likely wasn't what he meant but it was what Tiras got out of that statement. It was an incubus thing really. Still smiling, he picked up a bite of noodles so he could feed them to Snake, holding them up to his lips.
"Do you have things you do like? I want to know what you enjoy."
No, Tiras interpreted that absolutely how Snake intended it. “No, not my kink at all,” he affirmed with a slight nod. Then he leaned in to take the bite Tiras offered. Chewing gave him a chance to give the question some real thought. Snake didn’t consider himself a particularly kinky person.
“Um, mostly just the usual stuff. I guess I’d say I’m a little vanilla but open to new things.”
It had been so damn long since he'd really been with a baby in the sex world that he was struggling to remember what the 'usual stuff' even was. He'd tried basically everything that there was to try at this point. Probably more than once.
Vanilla helped though. Tiras watched him for a moment or so then hummed a bit. "What's something you want to try then?"
"I don't have any of those on me but I can be one for you." He knew very well he had that ability. Most often he used it to get sex over with for those he fed on. But he could use them for fun things too if he really wanted to. "You wouldn't have to take anything. Just be with me."
Snake remembered. Well, he basically justified falling into bed with Tiras by telling himself Tiras was like an idol. Snake followed the blog about Tiras for the better part of his life. It’s what sparked his interest in a certain flavor of mystery – the one involving inhuman creatures and cryptids. But sitting in Tiras’ presence now, he’s certain his adoration of the incubus was a much smaller influence than his natural ability to charm and seduce.
His pulse quickened and a slightly breathless quality came to his voice. “I wouldn’t mind that… but we need to finish the noodles, first. Or I could box them up for later.”
"It's so strange how you're more able to resist me. I've never really seen that with humans before." But then again, no one had ever really been interested in him as a person before meeting him. It shifted the way his powers worked in a way he'd never experienced before and he still wasn't entirely sure what to do with that information.
"If you're still hungry please eat. You'll be tired when we're done. Get your energy now."
The second he saw Tiras at his door, the thought of taking him to bed again popped into his head. But, on the other hand, Tiras was more than an object of lust for him. He was interested in Tiras the person first and foremost. Did that mean he didn’t want him? Of course not! He wanted the incubus very much which seemed only natural. However, Snake also wanted to get to know him, to cultivate a relationship with him that revolved around more than sticking his dick in Tiras.
Snake laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of his neck. “It’d not easy.”
That said, he picked up his plate and liberated Tiras from having an arm around him. He stood up, gesturing for Tiras to hand the other plate to him. “You want to take your leftovers? I’ll box ‘em with mine if you don’t.”
"You can have them. You'll be hungry later." He'd barely touched his plate honestly. Even if he had actually eaten some of the food. Trotting after him, he watched what Snake was doing curiously. There was no food in his house, after all. He had no idea what to do with it.
"I think...you might not understand. With most around me, it's impossible to resist me. Supernatural beings can resist me but they often still feel a pull. With humans, they have no chance. The fact that you do..."
It was strange. But in a way he really liked. "I only have one person I talk to regularly outside of letters. This is different for me."
What Tiras would observe was Snake scooping the contents of their plates into a Pyrex bowl with a lid. Once he sealed the lid on it, he simply tucked the bowl into the fridge so he could eat the contents later. After that, he put the two plates and their utensils in the sink and turned on the water, letting it run to get hot before giving them a quick wash. Sure, he had a dishwasher, but Snake tended not to let his dishes pile up and just wash them as they were used.
He blinked, looking over to Tiras. How sad that he didn’t have people he could talk to. Snake decided he’d happily be one such person for Tiras. If Tiras wanted that, that is. It sounded like he did.
“I do feel a pull,” he informed while washing the plates. “It’s hard to describe, exactly. I find you wildly attractive. I think about you a lot. But it’s not… overwhelming? Like it doesn’t stop me from functioning like a normal human person.”
"You'd be the first human who could ever say that."
Quite literally. Every other human he'd ever slept with were obsessed with him until they died. Then they would give him everything they would have otherwise given to precious loved ones. Loved ones who then hated him for obviously good reasons.
"It's very different for me. Usually my partner has to chase people away from the property for me since they don't want to leave me."
Snake shot him a quick look from the corner of his eyes, a playful smile on his lips. “I don’t know where you live,” he teased.
He understood what Tiras was saying, though. He couldn’t explain why the incubus didn’t dominate his thoughts and send him off the rails. Though, he did think about Tiras quite a lot and he did make Snake feel… He wasn’t sure how to describe it because it wasn’t just ‘horny.’ But, yeah, Tiras did make him horny, too. Moreso than anyone else he’s ever known.
He watched him a moment longer then smiled as he made his way closer to him now that the food was out of the way. Wrapping his arms around his neck, he pressed himself close to him, fingers running through his hair. Lightly, he pressed a kiss to his lips then tilted his head to the side.
"I could always tell you where I live. I always have a few weeks every month where I'm all alone."
Snake was quick to dry his hands on his pants before looping them around Tiras’ waist, welcoming him into his personal space. When he’s close like this, he’s harder to resist. Maybe pheromones instead of some kind of magic? Tiras was very close to him at that party, too, before the urge to whisk him away gripped Snake.
Well, there was no point in trying to analyze it when he was very quickly falling under Tiras’ spell again.
“Why would your partner leave you alone for weeks at a time?” He couldn’t imagine. Though, he’s also trying to be more flattering than nosy.
"Because he's sleeping with a werewolf and they're in love or something ridiculous like that." Tiras, though he really didn't sound it, was entirely supportive of Su-jin's relationship with Silvio. Of course he wouldn't be if his partner ever tried to be with anyone else but that was another matter entirely.
"So he's always there for half a month and then the other half is with me."
Snake blinked. Maybe his partner was one of those who was less affected by his natural abilities. He must be if he has another partner, too, right? Well, it really wasn’t Snake’s business. Not was he terribly concerned with it. Why would he be with Tiras in his apartment, in his arms, and soon to be in his bed?

So he might have...a lot of questions.
