What a life they have together! So full of beauty and love and all the joy they can scrape out of the world. The joy Elyas has in meeting and playing with children, in weaving tales for them of his life with Laurent. And Laurent has all that recounted to him so clearly he can see the children's awestruck faces in his mind's eye. While he has no particular fondness for humans, hearing about the children who believe Elyas' stories without fear but with glee. It endears the youngest of humanity to him.

He wonders about the flowers and which might be Elyas' favorite. Tomorrow, Laurent will ask and make special note to sniff that one out. He'll send the servants out for bouquets of that specific flower to fill their villa with its color and scent. Yet another way for him to shower his dearest fox with love and affection.

"Mm," Laurent hums with a nod. "I don't blame you for choosing an earthy one. Does their scent remind you of home?" Laurent vaguely remembers his human life. He thinks there were farmland and hands, the smell of earth always thick and heavy in his memory. He'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy the earthy ones, too. A laborer or farm worker would be strong (for a human), tan, and muscled. There's no denying the pleasure such a form brings.
