Oftentimes during their walks, Elyas bounds off ahead (though never straying too far. These are times meant to be shared with his eternal love, after all), or in circles around his Laurent like a puppy being offered its first taste of freedom, but other times, he prefers walking just like this: arm-in-arm with the most beautiful creature he's ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on. Especially bathed in moonlight with the stars twinkling overhead. If he could, he'd never even so much as blink again for fear of missing out on a precious moment with his beloved.

Elyas points to a small path that leads away from the road that clearly wasn't intended to be there. A narrow footpath that'll take one to the flowers and the sea. "That's the path I walked down earlier. You can see the field of flowers from here. I'll take you there later to see them, even though they're all curled up and sleeping at this time of day. Though maybe I can find a few who are a little stubborn and up later than they should be. Oh! And we can explore a little further down the path together. I didn't have the chance to today. The sun had started setting and I wanted to be back before you woke up." He rarely allows himself to be too far away when it's getting to be time for Elyas and his love to be reunited once more.

Then he frowns and points a little further up the road. "I ran into a child and her mean dog up there. She was a cute little thing with bright orange pigtails and freckles all over her face. She was delighted by the colour of my hair and wanted me to come play with her but her dog wouldn't stop growling at me so I had to shoo her away." Dogs can smell what he is and tend to snap at him. It's startling sometimes. He likes to avoid them when he can.

Ah but the frown doesn't last. It's gone the moment they pass by that particular spot and his eyes practically sparkle as he looks up at his vampire with a bright smile. "Oh, yes! Let's invite a guest! I love having company."
