Elyas closes his eyes and gently nuzzles Laurent's cool fingers. The vampire's touch always makes his skin burn in the most delightful way. It's like curling up in front of a fire that's been made just for him. Ah how he wishes sometimes that Laurent could warm his skin under the sun, even just for a moment. Just to once again feel that which he's been denied for so long. Or to catch a glimpse of the wildflowers that Elyas will never be able to accurately describe.
But that's not a chance he'd ever take with Laurent. He would never risk losing him for just a moment in the sun.
Elyas' eyes snap open and he practically bounces on his feet at Laurent's suggestion. They haven't been out much together since they've arrived, what with trying to get everything settled in their villa. Granted, they're no strangers to quiet, late night strolls on empty roads, the first new nights seemed better spent at home, watching as it really started to come alive around them. Curled up together in a room that had finally been deemed complete, or standing on this very balcony, enjoying the sea breeze and the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks below. That has been a wonderful experience. His mountain had no view of the ocean, though it was home to many lovely river and streams. Nothing compares to the sound of the waves and there's been at least once already that Elyas has fallen asleep on the balcony while listening to them.
"Oh yes! Yes we shall! Perhaps I can introduce you to some of the lovely people I've met!" Elyas has no interest in people beyond what they can provide for him. They only try to take from him and he has little use for thieves. Oh, the introductions will serve more as a way to point out the people he's had his eye on.
