"I already got your stuff last night. I grabbed everything that didn't look like it belonged there."

So maybe there were a couple things that weren't Dal's but he could always return them later. What mattered was that he got all of Dal's things. He smiled then gently patted his boyfriend's stomach.

"Let's get you something to eat and you can ask me anything you want to. Mama will stop by later so you can meet her too if you're feeling up to it. She's looking forward to meeting you."
