"It is. But then I meet people like you. People who find hope because of what I do and that gets me through. I can't save everyone but I can try to save even a few."

Gabriel smiled a little. There was a touch of sadness to the look due to how he carried a lot of guilt over those he couldn't save. Like Tommy. And so many others that he'd never forget the names of. He closed his eyes a moment and took his glasses off so he could rub them a moment before he continued to eat.
