The phone calls hadn't gone great. Well, that was only partially true. His superiors loved him. The police department? Not so much. They weren't eager to let him take the lead on his idea but they knew they didn't have a choice in the matter either. He was the one in charge here. It had been a bit of a mess but Gabriel had managed to sort it out and had even gone out to investigate some things.

It was four in the morning but he was still out when he got the text. Seeing it was from Dal, he found himself smiling as he opened it up to read. Always the text messages. Sweet really.
