My babies are named after literary figures. We have Keats, Shelly, and Poe. And then the cat is named George. I say he's after Lord Byron, but that was really an afterthought. He just seemed like a George to me.
(( He takes Jason back to the kennels where there are a variety of different dogs: big and small, old and young, all in want of a loving home and a loving person to be friends with. Some ran right up to the edge of their kennels to greet them, others were sleeping, some just sat and wagged their tails. On the other side of the building were the cats, who were much more aloof (as cats are). ))
Um, no monkeys. Mostly like lizards, snakes, domesticated foxes. We helped rehome some sugar gliders once since I've been here. I would like to be able to hold a monkey though. That would be so cool!
