James was glad he returned those words to Eli. He meant them, deeply, fiercely. It wasn't just something he said in a moment of passion (not that this hadn't been passionate). This was a new relationship, but James was certain of his heart. It wasn't something he said lightly.

Leaning down, he met Eli for that kiss, smiling so fondly when he pulled away. "Thank you for giving me this gift," he murmured in turn. Both his heart and his body. They were both going to be cherished.
