Eli slept peacefully and could easily say the rest of their date was easily the best he'd ever had. They even had dinner together and by the time Monday came around, he was looking forward to when they'd be able to have another date. Of course they were busy so that was delayed and days passed but getting to give his boyfriend a secret smile during class meant the world for him.

Weekend crowds were always rough and Eli really tried to get out of them when he could. But this one was unavoidable since he was the new guy. So he'd gone in and the entire night there had been issues with one of the people there. Not only would he not keep his hands to himself but he had to be thrown out. Twice. No one was sure how he'd gotten back in.

But the second time he swore he'd give Eli a ride home. Enough so that he felt seriously creeped out and scared to go anywhere near his own place. Going to one of the bouncers, he asked for him to wait with him outside then went to go get changed before calling up his boyfriend.

"James? Can you come get me? There was a really creepy guy all night and I'm...I'm scared to go to the bus stop." As soon as he had confirmation, he was outside with the bouncer in the pouring rain, clutching his bag tight until he saw the car and his boyfriend behind the wheel.

Without hesitation, he ran over to him and waved that he was okay now before getting into the car and sinking low in the seat. He was cold and wet and shivering. Though that last part wasn't just from how cold it was outside.

"...if Malory isn't home can we go to your place?" he asked quietly.
