That made sense. Most people who were dedicated to their art were dedicated to their art. They didn't often have time or energy for outside hobbies and interests. James could understand that on an academic level. He'd really never been that passionate about anything. Studying and writing poetry wasn't an intensive endeavor, not like music or dance or theatre. It didn't require both physical and mental acumen like those arts did.
