"Why? Did you want more?"

He shifted so he could better look at him but otherwise stayed where he was. For a moment he looked almost innocent as he watched him. Eyes big and curious as he waited for his response. Truthfully, he wasn't sure which answer he wanted more. Yes or no. And strangely he realized he didn't mind what the answer would be either way at the same time.

It was...so odd. But in a good way too.
