"I wouldn't wait at the door."

He'd let himself in. Charm someone to let him in more likely. Or just break in. He had his own tricks up his sleeve and he wasn't completely useless. So he'd be waiting for him in here one way or another.

"I'll wait here or on the bed. That's much more comfortable."
