Traditional thing that Iseul is, he made a point of sending out invitations to every monster and supernatural being with whom he's acquainted the day after telling Damian of his masked ball. Each is written in a large, looping hand and reads:

My Dear Friend,

You are cordially invited to a most exclusive masquerade ball to be held at my estate on the next new moon. The attire is formal with a theme of silver and gold. My doors will open promptly at 8:00pm. Dinner will be served with music, dance, and festivities to follow.

I do so look forward to your attendance.

Iseul's calling card is included for those who may not recognize his handwriting. It also happens to have his address on it, as well.

Guests will find the house dark and sprawling, positively goth in decor and style. For those who know or know of Iseul, this won't be a surprise. There's a running joke in the community that the Fae is truly meant to be a vampire... more so than his long-standing vampire rival. Those in attendance will be shown to the parlor, the pocket doors thrown wide to the adjoining suite to make it something of a small ballroom. Musicians sit off to the corner playing with few breaks throughout the night.

The dining room boasts a long table with a veritable banquet. Though, one must be careful about eating Faerie food. Never fear, dear guests, for none of this food was prepared or even harvested by Fae hands. Outside, the grounds are covered with sprawling flower gardens, topiaries, and even a small maze of hedges. Lanterns light the paths since there's no moon for light. Both in and out, the house has many dark nooks and crannies and unoccupied to rooms to disappear into. All guests are welcome to stay if, for any reason, they are unable to leave at first light.

Suho gasps again and then claps his hands together excitedly as he circles around the human, looking him up and down. It's not that he's never seen a human before, but he's never really interacted with them much and very rarely gets to see one so close. And in a place like this, no less! He smiles up at the human when he circles back around to stand in front of him, then tips his head to the side curiously. "You can't tell?" So humans just walk around all the time not knowing who or what is around them? That seems dangerous. "Me and my brother are bulgae! You won't get to meet him, though, sorry."

“No, I can’t,” he lamented. It would be really cool if he could and save him a lot of embarrassment in having to ask. To some creatures, it’s the height of rudeness to be asked point-blank what they are because a human just doesn’t know. It’s even harder to tell when they take human-esque forms.

“Bulgae,” he repeats, looking thoughtful for a few seconds. “Oh! The fire dogs who chase the sun and moon!” Yes, he remembers that myth! And is very happy for it if the way his features brighten is any indication. Then concern flickers through Snake’s eyes. “Is he okay?”

Some see it as rude and some are simply not receptive to it. Or to the idea of speaking with a human at all. Suho is none of these things. He's only too happy to speak with the human and answer his questions. Granted, that's the type of behaviour that got him all mixed up with the princess earlier, but there's no harm in being friendly and helpful this time!

Suho claps his hands again and nods rather enthusiastically. "Yes! Yes that's right!" Though all the enthusiasm seems to drain away when he sees the human's (new friend?) concern. But then he laughs and waves one hand a little dismissively. "He's okay! He's just asleep and it's best to not wake him up unless you want to get snarled at."

“Oh,” he said with a note of relief. He can’t blame Sumin. Snake had a nap earlier, too. Though, his was due to an encounter with an incubus – an incubus whose scent is all over him so it’s pretty obvious what that encounter was.

“Well, if you love someone, let them nap,” he added very seriously, nodding as he spoke. What a good brother.

“I’m Snake, by the way.” He doesn’t know of any reason to obscure his name from the bulgae. Then again, it’s not his real name, so he’ll (probably) be safe if there were some reason to hide it.
