A day that's forever burned into Nam's memory. The phoenix crashing down on the bank of his river and Nam worrying that the bird would burn his home. Only then would Nam have been a threat to the vulnerable phoenix. The opportunity is rare when the dragon feels the need to strike first. So he watched the bird closely while preparing to defend himself from the flames. They never came but still, Nam watched. First the bird, then the direction he stumbled off in. He'd not slept but rather, just watched until he was certain the bird was gone. Watched until he was certain his home was safe.
