Realizing his human was falling asleep he pondered getting up and just tucking him in. But no. He didn't have to go quite yet. So instead he settled to make himself comfortable and stroked his hair, the fingers of his other hand gliding along his back. Softly, he hummed a little song for him to lure him to sleep.

He could let his new pet get some rest then get up later. Being under him like this was actually comfortable and nice for a change.
