There are times when Nam wishes he could see and experience the new and exciting ways the humans have changed the world around him. He's gotten tastes of it in his far less interesting travels, and Gaja has been kind enough to tell about the world when he's decided to ask, but it still gives him little idea of what the world at large is like. His own imagination can only take him so far when he doesn't know what he's trying to imagine.

No, he doesn't get to see the changes the humans make to the world around them, he just gets to see the changes the humans have undergone, themselves. It's not been a pleasant experience. Not for the dragon.
