Matthias would’ve insisted they say goodbye to their host, however, the fae was nowhere to be found… at least, the demon didn’t catch sight of him in the entire walk back through the garden, through the house, and to their car. The ride back to Sam’s bar was almost unbearable – Matthias was certain they caught every red light en route.
But once they were finally home, Matthias all but flung himself at his wolf. He rolled up on his tip toes to drape his arms around Sam, pressing light but eager kisses to his lips.
