Oh, it looks very predatory with the way Snake's staring so awestruck and wide-eyed. He's definitely under Tiras' spell and he doesn't even realize it. How could he? He's just a regular guy. A regular guy who regularly happens upon what other regular guys would call monsters and myths. But totally regular aside from that. Though he runs into people like this a lot, people who aren't quite human, he's not some sort of monster hunter trying to document and educate himself on their power and abilities.

He'd rather understand them as people.
